Ollie Lists
Curated movie lists for Stremio — link once, updates forever.
New here? 30-second tour
1. Turn lists on/off with the gold switches · 2. Drag ⠿ to reorder · 3. Build your own rows in Custom Movie List Optimizer · 4. Grab lists from Shared lists available · 5. Retire rows you're done with to Archive.
The Optimizer's Source picker shows your ★ lists first, then friends' ⇄ shared lists — pick one and the dropdown below is yours to control. ↻ in My MDBList lists re-syncs the source pool; the Advanced switches apply to every row, server-side.
Each section below has its own ▸ guide.
What happens with my password?
Used once to sign into Stremio's official API and install the list addon into your account. A Stremio access key is stored so future list updates reach you automatically. Change your Stremio password at any time to revoke access. Source code on request.
Your Stremio Lists (in Order)
Changes apply instantly — restart Stremio to see them.
How this works
⠿ drag handle — moves the row up/down in Stremio.
⌂ Home / ⌂ Discover — click to move the row between Nuvio Home (above your collections, in list order) and Discover + collections only. Turning Home on also moves the row to just below the pinned block at the top of this list; drag it if you want it elsewhere.
pill — private (grey) is just yours; shared (green) lands in everyone else's Shared lists available pool where they pick it up. A locked private pill (Simkl-history and Because-You-Watch rows) can't be shared — it's built from your own watch history, so a friend's copy would show their history. Friend-sourced rows are read-only — toggle, no pill.
📥 — moves the row to Archive below: hidden, not deleted.
📺 Custom TV Rows
Live rows built for this account — every one is rebuilt when Nuvio loads it, and every one is anime-free (anime lives in the Anime Hub profile).
Shows on your Simkl watching list where you're 1–4 episodes behind and an episode aired in the last month. This is the "sitting on the DVR" row — watch up to date and it drops out (fully-caught-up shows live on Currently Airing); fall more than 4 behind and it leaves until you catch up.
Every show saved in your Nuvio library whose last episode aired within 14 days — currently running. If Simkl tracks it, you must be within 3 episodes of the aired count (fully caught-up shows belong here, not on Catch up). Sorted soonest next episode first; drops off 14 days after the finale — between-seasons shows move to Upcoming Seasons.
The strict intersection: shows that are both on your Simkl watching list and saved in your Nuvio library. Shows you've half-watched but never saved fall off the right end naturally (recency decay: single-episode stale watches drift right). If a show you're watching is missing, save it in Nuvio and it appears on next load.
The uncapped sibling: everything on your Simkl watching list — no library gate, caught-up not required — ordered purely by what you watched last (most recent first). Anime still filtered out. This is the one row that always shows your whole in-progress pile.
Your Nuvio library shows with a dated next episode (within ~400 days). The "when does my stuff come back" radar — ordered by air date. Updated hourly by the pool sync.
Shows from your whole Simkl watching history you're ≥90% caught up on — including ones not in your Nuvio library. Mid-season shows you're current on are excluded (those live on Currently Airing) — this row is for what's between seasons: dated season premieres pin left, shows with a declared-but-undated next season get an announced label, and the rest sorts below by last watched. Finished (Ended) shows drop off; abandoned ones (3 of 60 watched) never appear.
Drag the ⠿ handle to reorder rows in the addon. Toggle a row to show or hide it. The limit caps how many titles the row can show at once (clamped 1–500).
Shared lists available
Lists shared by Oliver or friends — pick which ones you want.
How this works
Friend-shared lists also appear in the Optimizer's Source dropdown as ⇄ — pick one to build your filters on their pool, no copy. If they unshare, your xrow-built rows on it stop until they re-share.
Ollie's AI Generated lists
Curated lists by Ollie (AI-picked, no owner). Subscribe to switch them on, off to keep them parked here.
How this works
Archive
Rows you've retired — hidden from Stremio, nothing lost.
How this works
Shared rows never land here — turning those off returns them to the Shared pool above.
Nuvio Collections
Group your rows into Nuvio Collections — folders show up as tabs in Nuvio's bottom nav, so you can keep curated lists separate from optimizer rows. Drag rows between folders; rename inline.
How this works
Tile shape — Poster is the standard 2:3 portrait; Landscape uses 16:9 backdrops (better for TV / movie lists); Square for tight grids.
View mode — TABBED_GRID shows tabs at the top with a grid below (works everywhere); ROWS is Netflix-style scrolling rows (best on TV); FOLLOW_LAYOUT matches Nuvio's current setting.
Save writes the layout; Download JSON exports it as a file you import into Nuvio → Collections → Import. Need to push to your phone? Open the URL it copies — Nuvio imports from a link too.
Auto-derived default: Curated (your AI lists) · My Lists (your MDBList sources) · Optimizer (your filtered rows) · Friends (shared subscriptions). Delete folders you don't want; drag in extras.
Available rows (drag from here into a folder)
Saved layouts you can load any time — mix and match folders across layouts. Loading with Replace swaps your whole layout; Append adds its folders to what you have.
Folders others have shared — Add drops a copy into your layout (auto-subscribes you to its rows; updates propagate when the owner re-shares).
👥 Per-profile rows & collections
Pick a Nuvio profile, then choose which rows and collections it gets. Each profile installs its own Ollie Lists URL — rows you switch off vanish from that profile only; your other profiles and the main manifest are untouched.
How this works
Switch a row off → it disappears from THAT profile's Ollie Lists addon. The row still exists account-wide; flip it back anytime.
Save variant → stores the config and shows the profile's install URL. Install that URL in the profile (Settings → Addons → paste), replacing the standard one there. Reinstall/refresh the addon in Nuvio to see changes.
Collections → checkboxes under the Collections group filter which EXTRA collections ride the Nuvio push for that profile (primary always included). Leave untouched = same as account push.
Rows — switch off what this profile shouldn't see:
Collections — extras that ride the push to this profile (primary ★ always included):
🏴☠️ Collection Stealer
Take collections from other addons and serve them under your own roof — no source addon install needed. Live collections keep updating from their source; each one shows up as its own tab in Nuvio's Collections.
How this works
Install the Stealer addon in Nuvio once: Settings → Addons → paste your Stealer URL (shown below). New steals appear automatically — no reinstall.
Nuvio's Collections render the folders; the addon's catalog list stays untouched (nothing leaks onto Home or Discover).
Custom Movie List Optimizer
Build auto-updating rows from any source — yours or a friend's.
How this works
Saved rows re-apply your filters every time Stremio loads them — new entries on the source flow in, removed ones drop out. IMDb / woke scores stay frozen at last resync.
The pinned TV rows (Trending TV, Upcoming TV, Currently Watching, New Seasons, Because You Watch) also live here as rows — filters on the global pools (Trending/Upcoming TV) can be tweaked and even shared; the Simkl-history ones are personal.
⇄ shared sources run on the friend's pool, your filters, no duplication. If they unshare, your xrow-built rows stop until they re-share.
MDBList/MUBI URLs sync on add and every 4h. Pasted lists are snapshots (remove + re-add to change them). Everything appears in the Source picker, in "Your lists", and can be shared. Big pastes resolve by title, so they take a little longer.
Where do I get titles to paste?
Letterboxd — list page → ⚙ Export (bottom of the list) → opens a letterboxd-…-list.csv → copy the Name/Year columns in.
Trakt — list page → select-all the visible titles table → copy → paste (title and year land in separate columns — the tab-separated paste parses fine).
Anything else — copy the titles with years if you can; bare titles work too, just resolve more slowly and with a small wrong-film risk.
My lists
Your own MDBList / MUBI sources — ↻ re-sync, ✕ remove.
How this works
Removing a source takes its rows with it (you'll be asked first).
Add your own list manually
Import a list
Paste a public MDBList or MUBI list URL — or paste titles (one per line) / the CSV export from IMDb / Letterboxd / Trakt.
Examples & how to find each
MDBList — trending & curated lists
Browse mdblist.com → open any public list → paste the URL (looks like mdblist.com/user/list-slug). Private lists need an MDBList account key — public only here. Tip: to filter/sort an MDBList list, add it in the Custom Movie List Optimizer instead.
MUBI — curated lists
Browse mubi.com/en/lists/ → pick a list → paste URL.
Anything else → paste titles
From IMDb, Letterboxd, Trakt or anywhere: export/copy the titles and paste them into the CSV box (source "Pasted CSV"). One title per line — Primer (2004), tt0390384, or comma/tab CSV with a header row all work. IMDb and Letterboxd block direct URL imports (bot walls), so the paste path is the reliable one.
Click any example above to load it into the URL field below. Then name it and hit Import.
Advanced features
How this works
Released only — hides titles that haven't hit digital, Blu-ray/DVD or streaming yet, using TMDB's digital date (not the cinema premiere). Films in cinemas but not yet streaming stay hidden.
Hide watched (your account only) — hides anything in your Simkl watch history from every row. The DB refreshes daily so new watches drop out automatically.
Per-row Home/Discover placement — master switch for the ⌂ Home / ⌂ Discover pill in your list above. Off = every row uses the default Home placement; on = the pill decides per row.
Show Ollie's AI Generated lists — off hides the curated AI lists (Least Woke, Obscure Time Loops, TV lists…) from your rows, the Shared pool, and Stremio. Your own lists, friends' shared lists, and optimizer rows are untouched. Flip it back on and they all return — nothing is deleted.
Connect your Nuvio account and your Collections layout saves straight to your devices — no manual JSON import. Password is stored encrypted on the hub and only sent to Nuvio's login API.
Merge-safe: your existing collections in that profile are kept — only the “Ollie Lists” collection is added or replaced.
Open simkl.com/pin and enter:
How this works
Hides movies that haven't come out on digital, Blu-ray/DVD or streaming yet — so nothing in your lists is unplayable. Very new titles may take a day or two to appear.

📡 Install Series Manager on a Nuvio profile
Installs as a separate addon named Ollie Lists - Series Manager — just the 5 Custom TV Rows, nothing else. Use it on a TV-only Nuvio profile (TV Hub etc.) so TV and only TV shows up. Or install alongside the main Ollie Lists in your main profile if you want both.
Nuvio → Settings → Addons → paste this URL.
